OUTER RING ROAD

Outer Ring Road Proposed by HUDA - length-166 kms. Linking the major activity areas like Hi-Tec City, Proposed International Airport, Hardware Park, Apparel Park, etc., 29 major link roads would improve the accessibility between the IRR & (prop) ORR. Passing through Miyapur, Shamshabad, Injapur & Nagaram Villages.

Sites & Services

1.JAWAHARNAGAR SITES AND SERVICES:

HUDA proposed to develop Sites and Services Scheme to an extent of 1000 Acres.  Survey work with 2 different private agencies was taken up and completed.  A proposed approach road is also surveyed and demarcated on ground.  The IIT, Kharagpur has been entrusted with the work of preparation of a layout plan.   Initially it is proposed to provide main roads with drainage system and water supply pipelines an area of about 170 acres is being taken up initially.

2. TANASHANAGAR (POKALWADA SITES AND SERVICES), PHASE-II:

An extent of about 20 acres land is proposed to be developed into Sites and Services Scheme.  

3. TRUCK TERMINAL AT SHAMSHABAD:

An extent of 100 Acres of land was initially earmarked for truck terminal is proposed to be developed as sites and service scheme.   Layout plan is under preparation.

4. GOVT. DISTILLERIES LAND AT NARAYANGUDA:

The Govt. Distilleries land at Narayanguda in T.S.No.47, Block-I, and Ward 63 to an extent of about 8.03 Acres is handed over to HUDA along with building, sheds and machinery for disposal and raising resources to fund the National Games, 2002.  The layout was finally approved and communicated vide U.O.Note No.PO(DC)/MP2/H/2002, dt.3.10.2002.  As per this layout 51 plots are carved out in addition to amenities area of 1042.62 sq.mtrs.  The area of each plot ranges from 277 Sq.yds. to 1444 sq.yds.

PROJECTS TAKEN UP UNDER GREEN HYDERABAD ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME:

HUDA proposed to take up development of lake under Green Hyderabad Environment programme aided by Government of Netherlands.  Under the project some lakes are identified for beautification and restoration by providing sewerage treatment plant (STP).  The project reports and estimates were prepared under the guidance of Sri.Venkatraman, Consultant from Bangalore.  The same was submitted to the delegation of Government of Netherlands. 

PATEL CHERUVU AT NACHARAM:

The lake has an area of 43.46 Acres under FTL as per the survey work done by M/s. Soham Geomatics.  Formation of peripheral bund by desilting the lake and removal of water hyacinth has been taken up.  It is proposed to provide 1.35 MLD capacity sewerage treatment plant (STP).  Detail hydrological studies are being carried out by NGRI for all the three lakes viz., Patel Cheruvu, Pedda Cheruvu and Nalla Cheruvu.  On receipt of the report detail designing and estimates will be taken up.

PEDDA CHERUVU AT NACHARAM:

The lake has an area of 128.04 Acres under FTL as per the survey conducted by M/s. Soham Geomatics.  HUDA taken up formation of ring bund by desilting the lakebed and the same was completed.  It is proposed to provide 5.00 MLD capacity sewerage treatment plant to avoid polluting the lake in future.

NALLA CHERUVU AT UPPAL:

This lake has an area 63.12 Acres under FTL as per the survey conducted by M/s. Soham Geomatics.  The formation of ring bund around the lake by desilting of lakebed was taken up by Uppal Municipality and completed.  HUDA proposed to take up sewerage treatment plant (STP) with a capacity of 3.20 MLD.
